Austin, Texas has always been affectionately called the blueberry in a bowl of raspberries because Texas is such a Republican state, Joe. Saying Texas isn’t a Republican state is either way off the mark or an indication that the Republican Party has shifted in a way that disenfranchises gun loving southerners. Perhaps things have shifted because the Republican Party just indicated they do NOT plan on releasing a platform during the RNC until 2024.

Maybe if Texas flipped to Blue, only then there would be a
move to dump the Electoral College.

I would like to formally request that the title “The Honorable” be added
before my name here at the JBF.

Thank you and good day.

Eric, why should the Republican party unveil a platform at all, when its pretty much 'If you aren't a white, wealthy (or at least business owner), gun-loving yet pro-life racist who loves trampling on other people's rights and beliefs, you can go crawl off and die?'

(And for the record, I put Joe Zhang on ignore a long time ago, so I don't have to read his inane drivel.)

If you missed the joke, it's because you didn't read it.

Yet another cop (almost) murders a Black man. This time right in front of his kids. In yet another Democratic town, in yet another Democratic state (Kenosha, Wisconsin).

But things will get better once the Democrats take the White House, right?

Joe,

You mean the great state of Wisconsin that went for TRUMP in 2016 - has a Republican majority State Senate, a Republican majority State House and a Republican majority US Congressional Delegation?

Given that Kimberly and Don, Jr. looked like they were high in the sky on Colombian Marching Powder at the RNC, I'll take a Democrat option anytime over bargain basement Scarfaces.

Implying cause and effect here is ridiculous.

It's quite interesting that the ENC found a few Black individuals to speak about today's "conservative" values.

Once Thursday night "festivities" are over, it'll be back to bashing us in full force.

Based on how the RNC is going, GOP obviously stands for Gaslighting our Population.

I watched the first night "highlight hour" of the RNC last night. My wife had the elephant gun and tranquilizer, so we figured it safe. NBC is my poison of choice because I have a man-crush on Lester Holt.

It was funny. Oh, I got pissed at these people and what they claim and what they believe, but I always do. But I almost thought about having a drinking game when DTJ was on. And so angry! There are a lot of insanely angry Republicans.

President Murder took credit for six people who were released from captivity, and perhaps he was behind it. I never heard of it, but if it happened during his reign, I guess I allot him a little credit.

But that man will never be presidential; the Obamas were right. "I was there to help them," "I got them freed from captivity," "I made sure they got back home..." Commando Trump to the record. I'd say the Six Million Dollar President, but I don't think he can be had that cheaply.

And SO unpresidential in speaking to them! Interrupting, speaking like a common thug... it sounded as if he was talking to them at a reunion or something. Not on national TV, displaying his good character (and there may be a reason he speaks the way he does - it's all he's got.)

And perhaps I'm mistaken, but it seemed that the Republican party platform is "Joe Biden is a bum who can't run a lemonade stand, let alone a country. Only President Trump can save us." Oh, sure. I look around and see what he's done for us. And Junior had the gall to state that Biden is the one who's established the swamp... um... kid, first you said it, then you stepped in it, and now you're living in it.

I told my wife that I figured 538 was going to explode last night. God only knows what'll happen tonight - with MORE Trumps as all the speakers they could get. Dear me, is it wrong that I hope that one of them will turn on the family during their speed? I'll bet CBS, ABC, NBC will all keep those cameras rolling!

Got my seat belt ready for tonight, but I'm ready to laugh again too!
