Yeah - looking at those pages - and other from that era - one gets the feeling of seeing a loved one after a horrible disfiguring accident - You can kind of make out your loved one, but... you know...

Note the balloon placement on that page with Misty.
The letterer skipped a panel, and ended up crowding
the dialog to make it fit on the rest of the page.

Posted 'cuz I've yet to see a decent scan of this online with all of the dressing -- and because I finally got my desk cleaned up to a point where I can actually *use* my scanner!
