To paraphrase Brian Fantana:

There's a 50-50 chance that'll work 100% of the time........🤣

The two best arguments for keeping Biden are definitely the GOPs aggressive lawsuit and electors bullshit and the Supreme Court.  Given that a substantially less conservative court was pretty clearly biased for Bush in 2000, you can only imagine the shitstorm in store if there’s anyone other than Biden/Harris.  Even in that case, though, there’s still going to be a stomach churning amount of ‘legal’ challenges from the GOP, from RFK JR., from some other proxies.

I disagree with AOC’s third argument (that people are being unfairly influenced) to note that the administration pretty clearly wasn’t up front about Biden’s seeming decline, which drove down interest in a real primary.  You’re being strategically influenced all the time.  That’s why it’s called ‘politics’.

2020 was only a practice run for whatever stochastic end-run is coming.

I'm shocked. But I do think there are tons of better candidates that would do a better job as President than Biden. Trump is obviously not one of them!

Looks like the President broke up with the country via text.

That's it, we're fucked. Now the Democratic candidate will be somebody that nobody voted for*.

*My wife suggested Hilary, which though I scoffed at first, I ultimately thought was a great idea - at least *somebody* voted for her, just in a different election cycle.

How many people voted for Biden in the sham "primary" the D's ran?

If they hadn't hid Biden's condition for as long as they did we might've had a real primary and someone else would've been chosen.

I'm all for a Harris/Whitmer ticket. Glad he's suspending before the convention, hopefully Democrats hit the reset button and have a strong campaign. We need it.
