 | Thanks Adam.  I love his work.   On another note, I just posted an extremely sentimental piece to my CAF.  About a month or so before Marshall Rogers died, I commissioned a piece from him.  It showed up on my doorstep a week or two befre he died.  I have been unable to look at the piece until this week, and finally posted it to my gallery.  Due to size, I can't post it here, but I'd love for you all to see it. Here is a link http://comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=318181&GS ub=42725 |

Everyone who reads this thread needs to do themselves a favor and follow Ari's link to his Rogers piece in his gallery.  It might be my new favorite Batman piece in his (extensive) collection*.

*which is not as impressive as owning a bunch of interior pages from Jack Kirby's 4th World by John Byrne of course....but still it's nice....

 | I agree with Joe and Roger, that Marshall Rogers piece is great, though with the many great Batmans in Ari's possession I'd be hard pressed to pick one above the others... And Joe, you don't need to convince us with JB's Fourth World stuff. While I haven't read theat comic series, I can safely say that whenever I've seen JB interpret (drawing and/or writing) any of the Fourth World characters it's felt very right. I'd even go so far as to say that those characters that are among the many JB were just born to draw and write. And among that huge cast (of characters JB was born to write and draw) there does seem to be a lot of Kirby characters in general. Which I guess indicates that he's a good keeper of the king's legacy. :)

My latest aquisition by the under-rated Don Heck. Although no action, I thought this was a nice page.
