Thanks very much for all the comments about the Cockrum Batman piece. This is one piece that my nephew is NOT welcome to swipe from my collection. It was(and hopefully will again) hanging in my office next to my Marhsall Rogers and Carmine Infantino Batman drawings. Now, I just need to add a JB Batman to my office wall.

Ari,
Has your nephew come to appreciate the first lady of comics, WONDER WOMAN yet?

First of two from Ron Frenz. Not officially in my possession yet but I couldn't wait to show it off!
Frenz was the artist on Thor when I started reading comics and remains the Thor artist to me!

Never seen a Cockrum Batman -- love it! Congrats, Ari!
And that Frenz Thor -- wow!

Joe, you've added another awesome piece to your collection. Frenz is so underrated. His Thor work was a classic.
I look forward to your next piece. Don't keep us waiting.

OK, ok.....I'm not as good as Gerry at making everyone wait:
The exiled Captain America storyline was going on when I started reading comics. I asked Ron for Steve Rogers as "The Captain". This is not US Agent!

Joe -
What was the turnaround on Frenz ? I have always wanted a commision, but am still waiting on one I paid for 11 months ago, so I am extremely gun shy at this point.

Thanks for posting those Frenz pieces Joe. Ron Frenz is responsible for a lot of comics that I've enjoyed in my collection. He was one of the first pros that I had the chance to meet at Fantasy Fest (Now Dragoncon) in Atlanta back in the day. It was inspiring to watch him sketch (and more fun to watch him ink since he's a lefty).

Nice Frenz pieces. Frenz was my first favorite artist as a kid. He was drawing Spider-Man when I discovered comics.
