Nice additions. Wondering if John used some fixitive to preserve the pencils on the Angel series?

JB has said that he was applying a fixative to prevent them from being inked over (I assume they also add a layer of protection to prevent them from being erased, too)

Now being a happy owner of 2 of those pages, I'm not about to try to prove it!

LOL. I think -all- John's pencils should be preserved! Overlays, that's what the inkers should be doing.

We are currently snowed in with 2 feet of snow in Southern, Maryland, so I figured I'd update some of the DOA galleries today.  Please check out the following galleries for some swell new JB artwork:

 Assorted

 Gererations 3

 More updates are likely tomorrow!

 | Now, I just had a 'Frequency' moment. When I logged in on the 6th, I checked the DOA website and it said that iot had been updated on the 8th of January! This prompted me to check the current date, which is why I recall it. So I thought, for fun, I'd check on the eighth anyway and see if my browser had been 'predictive', there, in the Misc Gallery, appears an 'Assignment Earth' Splash that I hadn't noticed before, spooky! ;)    http://www.whatashock.com/doasales/byrne12.html   Check it out. |

I added some new artwork to the Assorted gallery this evening; included are pages from Star Trek (an Enterprise splash), Angel, and a rarely seen Prototykes page which appeared as a back-up in Babe.  You can check them out HERE.

I've also got a nice JB page from JLA Classified on eBay this week; you can check it out HERE.
