The "Build The DeLorean Collection" has been out a while in the UK, but now it's coming to the US:
Anyone interested?

I've been snapping up the Hasbro STAR WARS 40th Anniversary "Black Series" versions (in retro-packaging) of the original 12 Kenner figures from the '70s... I only need to get Obi-Wan and Han Solo, and I'll soon have 'em all.
I passed these by last year, but something suddenly clicked for me this year and I thought, "I need to have these!"

Eaglemoss are releasing a 12 part Battlestar Galactica ships collection. The first issue will be the Mk 2 Viper. This is the larger scale £45 per ship line.
It says only available through their website and comic shops.

The second is the redesigned Cylon Raider
While I cannot afford these, they look nice and I will find the actual Battlestar hard to resist if they release that

Shaun, re the 40th Anniversary figures:
The Obi Wan figure is not too hard to get hold of - I got the one that comes with a little holographic Leia - love that figure.
The Han Solo was one of the short packed ones (like R2) so expect to pay more for that one. But it seems you must have got an R2 so you know the prices.
Hmm, in retrospect I'm teaching you to suck eggs aren't I?

Actually, the 40th Han and R2 were re-released in full cases, so they are fairly easy to find now. The 2nd wave/series are the sllightly harder ones to find but even those were re-released to online merchants so they shouldn't be too hard to find, either. The only one I had any real trouble finding was the Stormtrooper from the 2nd series but I finally got lucky and found it at a Toysrus while on vacation.

(Ha, no worries, James!)
Just to clarify, these are the 6" figures, not the 3.75" diecast ones that I've also seen... I bring that up only because the Obi-Wan I ordered does not come with a holographic Leia--maybe that's a variant, or comes with the smaller figures?
Anyway, the Han Solo is on the way and I'll have them all... they're really quite striking & handsome figures. I knew the prices were already a bit steep*, so I figured if I was ever going to nab all 12, it was now or never, before most (if not all) became prohibitively expense within the next couple years.
*(They've averaged about $20 to $30 a figure, with R2-D2 being the most rare & expensive--about $45.)

Hi David - the situation in the USA and the U.K. is somewhat different - in the U.K., the first wave went in a day while the second wave (for the most part) were more readily available.
Shaun - the Obi-Wan with the Leia was a special version of the 6 inch one. Glad you have managed to complete the set.
It is weird how distribution of these things went - Hasbro really dropped the ball with these. Let’s celebrate the 40th with retro packaging that everybody will want and then make them really hard to find. I just didn’t understand it - in the U.K. they were exclusive to Toys R Us and went in a day.
But then, we just (finally) started to get the Revan wave for £15 a figure while you had him ages ago and he’s mega expensive still (until his solid cases arrive later this year)

I got good news and bad news. The bad news is the comic shop I get New Visions from is closing down :-(
The good news is everything is 50% off, including this gigantic Galactus magnet bottle opener (not my hand in picture). Also got some pint glasses I didn't have.

There's a Galactus magnet bottle opener?
Oh man. I wish I had one.
Presumably this version travels the universe looking for bar food to devour rather than whole planets.
