I already had the first release of the Sci-Fi Revoltech Thunderbird 2.

At a recent convention, picked up the limited-run metallic green color version.

I've also had a number of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman characters enter my collection, but not sure if that is of any interest here.

QUESTION FOR BILL MIMBU...

My son has the Kong Skull Island 18in.
Kong figure. He is wanting a Godzilla
18in. toy to fight with. Now, my son is
8yrs old, and I would like to get
something playable at that sc a le that
doesn't cost a king's ransom. I've tried
to do my research and turned up nothing.
Then I thought, if anyone will know about
this, it's Bill.

Does such a thing exist?

If so, what is the usual price range for
it?

Stephen, sorry for the tardiness in getting back to you.

You might want to look into the NECA line of Godzilla figures, since most of them are around the $20 range and were found at Toys R Us or available on Amazon. You can also check out some of the reviews on Youtube for these figures, like:

Steven's Toy Reviews (Occasional salty language warning)

EDIT - Unfortunately, looks like the closest to your son's 18" Kong are the 12" tall NECA Big-Gs in the $20 range. Kong will certainly have a height advantage over those...

Thanks for the response Bill. Hopefully the company that
made.his.Kong will have the license for the Godzilla
movie and eventually make one.

Nice to see the new Star Wars figures will be $8 in the USA and £11 in the UK. That's around $13 at the current exchange rate.

I'm getting a little fed up with this.

JB & Forum,
Just received this and didn't see this posted and wanted to see if you had seen it and if so, what you though of it?

Why is it so hard to portray a maple leaf? Headpiece looks wrong.

Cowl is off and it looks a lot like the Eaglemoss statue, complete with gigantic legs. Defined musculature is fine, but I don't think he should be so massive.

...yeah it wasn't the maple leaf that caught my eye, if you catch my drift.
