Received today, both at the same once, the Catwoman and Batwoman "Bombshells" statuettes. The first was ordered months ago, the second just days ago.

In internet speak their simultaneous arrival would be deemed "ironic" I suppose........

Wow I think that looks great. For me I'll have to also get Robin. Looks like it's size will fit with my other statues.

JB, I was curious, being one of the great comicbook artists
the medium has had, has a shipper ever realized who there
shipping to, when you order online?

I'm imagining a fan losing his or her mind, when seeing
your name, on a shipping label.

I had one of our Sales guys at my desk last week when the JBF title page was on my second monitor. He noticed the name and started a rapid fire questioning/statement monologue like, "Waitaminute! John Byrne the comic artists? John Byrne the guy who did the FF? You are too young to know who John Byrne is! How do you know about John Byrne". I calmly said, "Yeah, I know who John Byrne is" and proceeded to melt his brain with various photos.

I would imagine a fan shipping something to a "John Byrne" would be tempted to call JB's number to confirm the order and strike up conversation.

plus this somewhat more cartoony version:

JB, isn't that one a model kit?  I don't have my Previews magazine in front of me but there was something I saw recently that looked really nice and it looked like another statue.  But the description actually said that it's a kit and a high level one at that.

Hope you get what you'd intended.

Nothing in the Amazon description suggests it's a kit.

The Adam West Batman figure is crazily realistic looking.

Yes. The face is slightly less photorealistic than the Hot Toys "doll" version -- I am wondering if I could cut away the bottom half of the face and replace it with one of the optional ones from that other figure -- but overall the effect is most impressive. Placed among the more "comicbooky" figures already on the shelf it practically springs to life!

Okay, it's a different pose altogether so my memory is the culprit but this is the one I was talking about.  Seems odd to me that they'd make such a nice "statue" of Yvonne Craig's Batgirl and then make it a kit that you not only have to assemble, but paint it too if I'm reading it right.
