Snapped this photo at Toys R Us today:
I would've loved a Wolverine mask when I was a kid! It made me smile a little extra because it looks like the brown costume. Or as I like to think of it, the correct costume.

Be very careful of the Hot Toys Batman costume fabric. While I have yet to open mine, word on the street is that it's very easy to snag. So, watch those fingernails when handling him!
..and the rumor is that the Batmobile that goes with him is only TWO YEARS AWAY.
yikes. Hope that's not true.

I have a question for anyone who can answer. I'm trying to re-buy some of the toys from my childhood, but one item has been called a figment of my wishful thinking. I recall a flying Superman doll from the late 70's. IIRC, it was a little larger than Mego's, had a face that had some resemeblence to Chris Reeve and could "fly" using a zip line on his back. I brought this up to a friend, and he thought it was just a regular Mego I must have modified. But I'm almost 100% positive of this.
BTW, the other toys I'm searching for is a Zem 21 from the Zeroids' Star Team and the Gabriel 10" Lone Ranger and Silver set from '77. That Lone Ranger was one of the coolest toys I've ever had.

Remco made a line of battery operated plastic statues (they couldn't make articulated figures)...
I have a beat up one...

Dave, that one's cool but not it. This had something like a pull line.

Well...yeah...then you're just talking about the 12" Mego Superman that was re-issued with the pull line.

Joe - In high school back in the 70s a friend made a full head Wolverine mask like that in art class. He was short and muscular, so it was fitting.
And he made two sets of claws in metal shop!
ah, the 70s...

I still have my Energized Spider-Man from when I was a kid, and the Spider-Copter accessory. Never got the Green Goblin. Like the Superman and Batman, he's fixed in one pose. A plastic hook on the end of some plastic fishing line pulls out of one hand. You can hook it on something, turn him on, and the winch slowly reels in the line, making him climb. When you plug him into the copter, the same little battery motor causes the rotor to turn...again very slowly.
