I saw this Adam West Batman model at comic-con and it looked great!

My model building days are long behind me, but if a pre-built version gets offered, I'll be getting it.

Nothing more clearly defines the greying of the audience than the nostalgia being currently demonstrated for the Adam West Batman. After decades of True Fans not being able to mention the show without spitting, now we get dolls and models and action figures and even a comic book (tho what little I have seen of that looks like a misfire). . .

Something tells me all of this sudden Adam West-era inspired merchandise is in anticipation for a DVD release of the '60s TV show. Probably this year, in time for the X-mas season?

…n time for the X-mas season?

••

Y'know, Stan Lee didn't create that holiday.

Whilst I have no interest in building an Adam West Batman model, I've got to admit that that is one beautifully sculpted and designed kit. It's truly amazing how far along injection molded plastic model figure kits have come in the last 10 years.

From the recent Wonderfest in Japan, looks like Kaiyodo is coming out with a Revoltech version of Jessie, from TOY STORY 2:

Considering that Kaiyodo is going ahead with re-releasing the now infamous original version of Revoltech Woody (better known for the "Creepy Woody" memes), this might not end well, especially with that alternate face of hers...
