If Moonstone didn't have a sculpted mask, I'd buy her to make into a Rita Farr for my DC collection.

I would like, if it's possible, to find a Marvel character to do that with, since I'll have most of the DC female characters and I don't want a duplicate sculpt for a different character. The ladies I won't get - like the Mary Marvel for instance - aren't good conversion material for an Elasti-Girl.

 | •• At least those are raised lines. Easy enough to scrape off. (Just realized she's in the same pose as Mar-Vell.)

Is that supposed to br bare skin at her chest?

It's part of her costume. That area is gold and matches her gloves.

She's had this costume for at least 5 years, so, for better or worse, it's the modern version. As someone who reads Thunderbolts, I recognized her right away sans paint.

I like the Vance Astro, but no real interest in the character.  If Moonstone had her helmet I'd prefer it.  It would be nice to piece together the Masters of Evil.

Blog update.  Lots of pics of Mojo and other figs.  Some news.

Picked up Ant-Man a couple of weeks ago.  Although he's the Scott Lang version, I prefer to think of him as Hank Pym and have, accordingly, placed him next to Thor, Iron Man, the Hulk and Captain America as representative of the early Avengers.  He's a neat sculpt!

Got the Beetle and Odin this week.  Odin looks fantastic.  Not as heavy as I thought he'd be.  That honor still goes to Uatu, The Watcher.  I've got a soft spot for the Beetle so even though he's not a classic Spider-Man villain, I've added him to that bunch of characters.  So glad he's in as close to original costume as he is otherwise I wouldn't have gotten him.
Saw Northstar and Aurora up close.  Not impressed, plus with the way they're posed they'd take up a lot of room.  I passed.   |

 | •• Sorry to hear that. Perhaps I will have to start looking around for characters I can customize!

I love the Northstar I did, my best work I think, from Quicksilver. Aurora could stand a rework, though.  The base figure wasn't the best.

Spider-Man looks really sharp in black.

Not impressed… *** Ditto here.  Not so great start to my Marvel figurines collection.  My LCS never put it on my pull-list (spotted the spare order on the figurine shelf by chance), and Northstar decided to pop his right forearm off while still in packaging when I got home. |
