Love the look of Triton and Puppet Master.
Got my X-Man, Ant-Man and Ronan yesterday. Really wish I hadn't bothered with X-Man now.

The superhero figurine forum has heard from EM that a Northstar/Aurora doublepack is confirmed for release in 2011. That clears up a spot in the latest extension by pulling Northstar, fills in a 'special' slot for next year, and leaves 4 spots open for the regular lineup. So...starting August 9th, there will be a blind poll running through the rest of the month on the figurine forum, allowing 5 votes per member for the figures of your choice. The top 3 characters will be confirmed, leaving one more which I believe will be decided by a contest like last time.

Blog update. The only news is that the forum poll to pick three more figures starts on Monday and runs through the end of the month. I'll post details here next week for those of you that would like to participate.Sneaks! Toad, which I think is great.

Balder. I'm not a fan of the character, I've only ever read some of the Simonson issues of Thor. I was hoping for that version, with the huge helmet. I'm on the fence, it's a nice sculpt. He'd make a nice giant warrior among my Games Workshop figures.

Been a while since I've seen him in a comic, but did Toad always have an elongated tongue?
I was planning on getting Balder, but the piece seems off. Generic.

that Balder is just lame. Nice sculpt, but an uninspired design. This is the Balder I remember:
I, too, don't remember the Toad ever having the elongated tongue (except, of course, in the movie). I'll have to dig into some back issues.

no sign of the tongue in his first few X-Men appearances. Must have been a "secondary mutation." otherwise I like that Toad sculpt...I think it could be saved with a bit of work. Balder would be a pretty tough re-sculpt...I sure do like the character, though. hmmmnnnn...

Toad, which I think is great.•• I wonder if that tongue will snap off? What's their source for the Balder sculpt? Looks like no version of the character I remember.

Toad with a tongue at least has some logic to it. I think it's crap, but it's crap that has rationale.
Emma Frost becoming diamond, Angel having a healing factor in his blood (that he can use on other people too!), and Beast becoming a cat? Not so much.
That Balder could double as Marvel's Conan, methinks!
