And one of the better "new" characters I've read in the last several years.

Thunderbolts was definitely one of the better surprises for me in the last ten years, or was it longer? Really liked that comic up to the team change.

THUNDERBOLTS and SUICIDE SQUAD === Hey! You know how sometimes it's cool when a villain ends up fighting on the side of the angels? Let's do that EVERY MONTH!!!:-PPPPPPPPPPPP

I get what you're saying about Thunderbolts, but the thing that was cool to me was I thought it was just another team book until the big reveal. It was a complete surprise to me. The surprise was what was cool to me. I didn't see it coming. Don't get that too much anymore in comics. Okay, enough of that. Back to Marvel figurines.
I picked up Taskmaster this week. Pretty cool. I don't have a lot of attachment to him, but I like the figurine.

The voting has begun to pick the next three. Get yourself over to the figurine forum and make yourself heard. You get 5 votes and the top 3 get in.

We all know the word "classic" was thrown out the window a very long time ago when it came to who would be made into these figurines but where are A.I.M. , Hydra , or Stilt-Man ? Anyone like to see these added?

Picked up the most recent four yesterday:
Man-Wolf - would have much preferred the Perez look (aka Star God) as this just looks like any old werewolf. Ikaris - looks good even if the character is fairly dull. Machine Man - looks pretty nifty. Destroyer - skull on the chest looks a little cutesy but the prone Nazi under his boot is cool.
Biggest disappointment for me though was that as of the Ikaris issue they seem to have discontinued doing the removable cover print from the middle - I've been removing and framing the Byrne ones and now it looks like they've stopped. This could actually be a good excuse for me to bail out of buying them every single time.

Boy I feel stupid - I thought the Destroyer figure was the one from Thor. While it's nice, it's not what I was expecting and I feel a bit like a kid who gets a duff present on Christmas day. Oh well

Ka-Zar and Zabu arrived today. This leaves me with space in the display case for only TWO more figures! Unless I start stacking them three deep. Then I have to decide who goes in the back row!!THIS… …seems like a million years ago!!
