Yep, plus I have a set of small files, a rough sanding sponge (100 grit) and some 400-450 grit sandpaper for a smooth finish.

Re: the Enchantress Heavy thighs are where it's at. That figurine was perfect.

Had the In-Laws in town this weekend so I decided to use that time to break out the paints for the first time in a while and do some customizing. Followed JB's lead and blackened Captain Britain's boots. I also re-touched Gaurdian's costume and made it look a bit more CANADIAN.
I blackened Nighthawk's costume. Mine also arrived with a broken talon so I just took the rest of them off, filed down his hands and repainted his gloves. I also noticed that his head was mounted onto his body so as to give him an oddly elongated looking neck so I pulled his head and cape off and re-seated it in a more appropriate position. That allowed me to repaint his entire body much more easliy, too.

looks nice Brad!(I really want to pretend that it's Michael Pointer in the Guardian suit, but it's even to beefy to be him) <sigh> unfortunately I still bought it... hopefully they do a better job with Snowbird.I received only my second damaged figure from DCBS. Mandarin's hand got crushed so now it looks like he is giving a fist bumb, should be easy enough to bend the fingers back.

It's really quite fun pulling these things apart and then putting them back together again! Don't let that keep you from jumping on board and buying a few dozen!!! Besides...the talon issue could have been fixed with a simple dab of super-glue (or even a call to Midtown for a replacement)...I opted for compete removal. The head/cape thing was just my obsessive-compulsive nature!

Boy, that Captain Britain figurine looks like he needs a shot of Super-Soldier serum or to take a Miraclo pill compared to the figurines. Your figurines are looking good Brad. Not sure if I have the patience for painting such small areas!

I agree...most of these guys look pretty good in scale but there are a few that are either really big (Dr. Strange, Kitty Pryde, Hawkeye) or a bit teeny (Captain Britain, Captain Marvel, Juggernaut).
Finished Gladiator this morning...going through alot of black paint!

I noticed that the magazine that came with Gladiator indicated that his hair is blue.

Maybe there will be a mulligan on a few of these figurines. That would be nice.
