And a spectacular 3-D version in bust form, in case Aren wants something other than 2-D reference

Yes, that half-figure bust is perfect. Right down to the smirk.
Something I notice many artists seem to do when drawing Sasquatch is make
his face too narrow, more human proportioned.

I, too, am not a fan of the "concept sculpt." appears more like a buffed out wookie than Sasquatch.

So a sad day today...have to pack away the kids while we sell our house and prepare for our move to Virginia. Thought I'd post a pic of the collection so far...until they see the light of day again.
it's seems like only yesterday I was cursing JB for turning me on to these little beauties. oh, where has the time gone?

The first thing I would do with that concept sculpt is narrow the legs and feet. In order to capture his true size, Sasquatch needs to be W I D E. At the sketch at the top, each of Walter's feet take up about a quarter of his width, with more than the width of a foot between them. Each thigh is only about 1/6 as wide as his shoulders. In the sculpt, on the other hand, the feet appear to be the same width as the shoulders, and there appears to be no space between them. It looks like half his weight is concentrated in his legs, when he's really 3/4 torso.

Rhino is on the way (hopefully I have enough "green stuff" to add the needed bulk). I'm a couple issues behind, I'll be ordering Hercules and Psylocke this week. They had Iron Man in stock yesterday...the movie might make me a fan of something newer than the 'classic' armor. Still deciding.

Saw Hercules in the shop today, if it's still there this weekend I may have to pick it up.

Hercules is a very nice sculpt. My LCS got him in today, I had to look through several before I found a paint job that wasn't too sloppy. I'm afraid the poor paint jobs are becoming a trend on these little guys.

I am going to spend entirely too much money on these things.
Aside from ordering 16 of them from Midtown (they are enroute) I picked up my first 3 in-hand yesterday at my LCS. I've bid on several on eBay. And I ordered that $200 display case from Danbury Mint. Eaglemoss, my wallet hates you.
