I said I was being facetious in using a very specific term, not the point I was making with it.  I'm getting really bored of typing facetious.

Then do what Al politely asked:  Provide specific pages numbers, posts, etc.

If you can't or won't, then say your good byes.

So, you were kidding about the whole thing about JB "get(ting) into
ridiculous arguments, batten(ing) down the hatches when things don't go
(his) way and let(ting) the flying monkeys pile on" thing, Ed?

***

No, in fact in the post right above yours I said just the opposite.

So. You're an asshole for sure then.

Glad we got that straightened up.

Carry on.

I don't get why you would waste your time with something that obviously bothers you. Not infringing on your right to free speech, But why just go somewhere to stir the pot? I would much rather spend my time being happy and doing things that I enjoy instead of starting a flame war.

To be honest, Kevin, I don't have the time or the inclination to wade through this board and point you in the direction of examples.  If you don't see it then you don't see it.

So is this a tactic to derail the thread in hopes that it will be locked?

I hope not.  I've been enjoying the discussion, even though I've been quiet through it all.  (Until now.)

Cop out.

If you don't have the time or inclination to back up what you say, then don't
say it.

And apologize for having done so. "I can't stand behind what I've said about
you, JB, so I'm sorry for having said it."

Off the top of my head, there are the infamous Steve Irwin/Chris Reeve threads.  The current Dark Knight thread is fairly bonkers.  There's some chronic digging in going on there.  This one, as I said, isn't this forum's finest hour.

Wow.

You might want to take another look through that 'dictionary' of yours, and
check the meaning of 'specific'.

Well, I did say off the top of my head.  I didn't put the effort in there, I'll admit.
