Which one is Cyclops? The one who looks like he has one eye.

Which one is Angel? Duh!

Which one is Beast? Duh!

Which one is Iceman? Duh!

Which one is Marvel Girl? Duh!

.... See where we've gone astray?

Yes, you're right. I think that mini came out a few years ago. I didn't remember the title. Thanks.

I'll leave the debate here, and head to the pub and maybe try and get some fish and chips in newspaper after last orders. The joys of a British Saturday night.

That is simply amazing.  plus you were doing covers and other as well no?

I have loved many artists in my comic reading life.  Kirby (the King), J Buscema, Sal B, Steve Rude, perhaps my favorite Barry Windsor smith, but my top two were always John Byrne and George Perez ( I am of that generation).

I cannot say what JB's intent may or may not have been in that article,..but If I had to give the title of comic "king" after Kirby,....I would have to give it to JB.

Please,..this is not to discount in anyway the GREAT contributions of guys like JB, Gene Colan, John Romita JR and SR. and many many more.

I'm just saying at one point JB was the face of comics in a way comparable only to Kirby.  Perez too,..it's a toss up for me.

Was that too much Brown nosing??? btw, I am not a BN, I am only being honest about MY feelings.

I vaguely remember the in-story explanation for the name "Cable" being
that he was a link between the past and the future.

I suppose he just as easily could have been called "Link."
