Dan - You are a VERY lucky guy! Not only does your wife support your hobby, but she also lets you hang the commission in your living room, AND she also assembles the freakin' frame for you... buddy she is a KEEPER!!
Fred - I do not own stock in American Frame, but I'll be glad to provide details on how I (and Dan's wife) order the supplies and assemble the frames by hand. It saves lots of $$$ which can then be put towards more JB art!!! Feel free to shoot me an e-mail at capshockeyfan@yahoo.com for more info!

The guy they sent was fairly young, and as he took in the contents of my house -- most of you know what I mean! -- I commented "This is the kind of place you can have if you don't have a wife to say 'no'." "Ah," he nodded, "no voice of reason!"

lots of great looking frames. I've gone for quantity and toss most of my art in 11x17 frames very basic with a small border. My problem is that DC, Marvel art boards a just a bit bigger than 11x17. and it's hard to find .75" bezel (if that's the right word) wood frames. The just make it fit part of me want to go to the paper trimmer and shave 1/4" off the top. But cooler heads have prevailed so far.
american frame is nice but the frame finder is a bit hard to use if you don't want their default border area. Prices are very nice compared to a Michaels type store. Amazon has quite a few frames in their "Prime" program too.

Multi-time commissioner Yann Dupraz asked me to post this photo of he and his son with several of their JB commissions:
It's always nice to see the comic art torch being passed from generation to generation!

Getting the new Man Cave in shape. These are mostly JB pages with a Jack Kirby, Alex Ross, Fred Hembeck, Jimbo Salgado, Curt Swan and Bob Hall pages thrown in for good measure. :)

My X-Men/Titans commission, recently framed....
Tomorrow (well, technically later today) I'll begin the arduous task of rearranging all of the pieces I've got hanging on my walls to make room for this piece and six others I recently framed.... I'll post some pics when done.
