Yep, that's what I mean. The "New Coke" Armor abs are a bit much.

It's still profoundly weird for me to see characters I created and/or designed turning up as toys!

Not cookie jars, but this seemed a good place to put 'em. . .

Nice!

Plus, you are probably almost out of room in your studio!

I hadn't seen the Amy Pond.  Hmm, a purchase in the future perhaps.

••

These wouldn't go in the Studio, anyway. With a very few exceptions -- mostly the Gerry Anderson stuff -- I keep the Studio strictly comic related. Things of this kind, like the Dalek and Cyberman statutes I already have, usually go in the TV room.

But, with the TARDIS and Dalek cookie jars already on the shelf, this seemed a natural placement.

Does anyone around here ever re-paint or have re-painted their mini-busts?  I would also add statues but the mini-busts in particular seem to get only "okay" paint jobs in my limited experience with them.

I mean, they're good enough and look alright but I have always felt a really good paint job on them would really make them look better.

I do occasional touch-ups -- and there have been several, in all sizes, where I have had to repaint blue to the proper black. The Bowen Black Bolt was one such. Blue Bolt??

I'm not a collector and I'm not into action figures (mostly because it's usually expensive) but I stumbled upon this action figure the other day and I almost lost my mind and bought it.

This one is also very cool!

Too bad these are sooo expensive.
