Bill, that Yamanote train bank is awesome.  I wish I had seen it when I was there.

Vishwas, to tell the truth, I rode the JR Chuo / Sobu Line a lot more than the Yamanote (to Nakano and Akihabara from Shinjuku), but liked the Yamanote station melodies the best.

Tokyu Hands (in the Takashimaya Times Square complex near Shinjuku Station) did have a JR Chuo Line train bank also, but I didn't have any more room in my suitcase for both.

In the same aisle as the train banks was this Ultraman bank, but the price was almost the same as the JR train ones.

Bandai will be releasing a 1/700 scale model of the massive Tokyo Skytree Tower that is due to open sometime this year:

Impressive bells & whistles with this one, but being an old fart, I still prefer Tokyo Tower.

Kaiyodo is coming out with the 2nd movie version of Gamera (now that Bandai has taken over the Toho license)

HLJ Gamera 2]

Hot Toys continues to impress with the IRON MAN movie figure line:

Something looks a little "off" about the face. Maybe a bit to full?

I find that the more realistic these things become, the less realistic I find them. Probably because faces/heads move, constantly, and these don't.

I took the plunge and bought my first Bowan statue, the Classic Doctor Doom. I thought it looked pretty good. Took me a bit to figure out how to get it back in the box, the guy at the shop and me took about five minutes to figure out that the right hand comes off.

I do have a couple of other statues, a Batman and Robin from Detective #38 and a Superman with the US flag, but those were gifts. I might be going down a slippery slope.

I was really hoping we would get premium format Dr. Who figures from Sideshow.

A couple of new figures: Black Vulcan and the Bronze Tiger.  The Bronze Tiger comes with a mask-less head and some other weapons.

Being a big fan of Charlton, I really like this figure.  I just wish he looked liked Ditko drew him. Captain Atom:
