I believe each 12 inch square can hold up to 75 lbs.

••

About two years ago I bought myself a new flat screen, HI-DEF TV, which required also getting a stand to put it on. I found a design I liked, in chrome and glass, and set it up, awaiting delivery of the TV. Assembling the stand, I noticed the glass top has a sticker cautioning that it's maximum weight tolerance was 254 pounds. (One of those numbers that make me mumble "Not 250. . not 255. . . 254!")

When the TV arrived, the box informed me it weighed 250 pounds. So I have been VERY careful about what else I put on that tabletop!!

Hm! I don't recall ever seeing that large size Bruce Timm Superman bust! I have the Batman, and I would have liked to have the Superman as a "bookend". No room for it now, even if I could track one down!

JB, the Bruce Timm Superman bust was a gift from a good friend of mine. He found it at a flea/antique market.  It was surprising on how light the bust weights.

JB, have you ever considered doing a steadycam video tour of your display area and youtube-ing it? I bet that would make jaws drop.

Joe, that M.O.D.O.K is pretty awesome.  I have always liked that character.

Not as impressive as M.O.D.O.K. but a worthy addition to my collection.  And, it adds to my Iron Man villains.

Crimson Dynamo (Although, I like the bulkier Silver Age version better):

One of my favorite characters of all time and one heck of a nice statue of him.
