Fed Ex is 20% off right now btw *** True that. Also, Mandarake Online World Shop often has a rotating stock of 2nd hand anime merchandise for sale (often just the boxes are dinged up, but the contents unopened and undamaged). I'll let interested members Google for the link themselves (due to the certain types of the merchandise offered). The figma KOS-MOS has shown up there already (for a collector's price), so there's a good chance Dorothy will appear too. Hmmm. I wonder if there will be any JBF members in Akihabara or Nakano anytime soon...

I'm really liking that sketch for Bishoujo Mystique. Hopefully they don't put her on a stupid base.

It's interesting to contrast those drawings. The Mystique image has PERSONALITY. The Magneto image seems to be of someone COPPING AN ATTITUDE.That could be said of much comicbook art, these days.

I'm assuming these are the pre-orders for those inflatable Ultra-monsters (no pictures for confirmation): http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN970236 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN970235

"The Magneto image seems to be of someone COPPING AN ATTITUDE."--- For what it's worth, that sketch is largely cribbed from Jim Lee's X-Men #1.

Just did a check on Amazon using "figma" as a search word. Quite a few that are no longer available in Japan showed up, but most at double their original prices. No R Dorothy Wayneright figma yet (obviously), but most of the State-side anime stores should be getting their shipments sometime in July.

Thought I recognized that (and cribbed is being nice)

HLJ has alerted me that the R Dorothy Wayneright Figma has been released in Japan. Total cost is $38.16 USD with shipping (from a total of 2,980 JPY, including 580 JPY for shipping). Now comes the long wait until mid-July...
