NEW FF Statues are coming from Bowen! Check out the works in progress & read more info from Randy Bowen here...

Mostly, I like! I'd prefer the belt, glove and boot lines to not be so three dimensional, but other than that they look pretty good.

(That website continues to be a headache inducing reminder of why we got rid of so many of the "one click" functions here in the JBF!)

The FF set looks pretty good and I can't wait to see how they will look painted. Also, I agree with JB about the belt lines not having to be three dimensional.

Again, good looking set that will fit perfectly with the classic Doom Bowen released not so long ago. Now, where it The Thing?

John - What features on www.statuemarvels.com drive you nuts besides the quote feature?

Quotes, avatars, sig lines. Pretty much anything that isn't the bare bones of the message posted and the name of the poster.

All those posters on Bowen's sight complaining about Johnny looking too young, apparently have never read Stan & Jack's FF or comprehend that these statues are designed to reflect that era. Sheesh!.

What? Comicbook fans who have no awareness of anything that was going on before they started reading?? You must be joking!

Nice Polaris, tho I already have the Bowen bust, so I think I will content myself with that.

I like the way the Polaris bust is posed better than the statue. The coloring
on the bust looks a little snappier too.The statue has pink lipstick instead of
green?!

Yeah, I don't mind the pink lipstick. Randy Bowen said that Polaris didn't have green lipstick when she appeared during Neal Adams run so she won't have it on the statue.

Also, he's adding the skull and taking off her gloves. So the one we see is not completely finished yet.
