I really like that Joker! It's got a Sprang face!

••

Refreshing to see a Joker who actually invokes the source!

In recent years -- decades! -- I have grown weary of the response to my question "Why do you think he's called 'the Joker'?" being "Because he JOKES!"

Starfire from the Cover Girls of the DCU line:

This might be tied with Supergirl for my favorite statue from that line.

So John - You like the new Thor, right? What do you think of the spinning hammer?

HobbyLink Japan is having it's "Scratch 'n Dent" earthquake sale:

[HLJ Link]

Not much as far as SF items are concerned, but some Ultraman Zero figures at 40% -50% off.

Starfire from the Cover Girls of the DCU line…

And, once again, the unique face George gave her is completely lost!

I'll have to see the final execution. Right now it looks like a white bagel.

I dig the Starfire. I'm glad the line is branching off into "Designed by Adam Hughes" territory instead of just Covers he's done. That way, we can get all the ladies he hasn't drawn officially for covers into the line!

I'm hoping for Big Barda, Stargirl, Raven, Wonder Girls Donna and Cassie... It'd also be nice to get a Huntress, Lady Blackhawk, Dove...

Man, I could list these things forever! That Starfire is really giving me hope I'll see some of the others!
