Bill Mimbu - Do you know anything about Marmit's Fierce Legend of Super Robots? I'm trying to find Getter Dragon.

Thanks!

Al

Randy Bowen answered a lot of fan questions today in his Q&A thread on Statue Marvels!

Sorry, Al...  I've never had luck in getting anything by Marmit.

Al,

There is a Bandai Soul of Chogokin version of Getter Dragon from Anime Jungle in Los Angeles, but that's not exactly what you're looking for...  Here's the HLJ description of it from a year ago: [Link]

And there's also a Revoltech version still available too.

New Juggernaut Statue for 2011! Learn more & take the POLL here...

••

Since relying more and more on computer modeling, Bowen Designs seems to have been producing a lot of statues of figures that are Just Standing There. That seems a particular flaw in a sculpt of Juggernaut. He should be lumbering forward.

Sideshow's latest pre-sales.

Bowen Winter Solder and Sabertooth. Nice sculpts, but the characters don't really appeal to me. Iron Man Mark V looks cool, but having the battle damage seems to detract from the figure. Especially at those prices, nothing under $200.

My Next Men #2 is coming out next week (does that make me a Next Week Man?) so I decided instead of leaving the shop empty handed, I'd console myself with this -

Just released preview pics of the upcoming X-Plus 1971 Godzilla (vs Smog Monster) and Hedorah figures:

http://www.ric-toy.ne.jp/seisaku/seisaku_gozzila1971.html

http://www.ric-toy.ne.jp/seisaku/seisaku_hedora.html

The second pic of Godzilla with a damaged eye and holding Hedorah's eyeballs is apparently the direct internet-order special figure (from the manufacturer itself).  The Hedorah figure is also sporting a damaged left-eye, so there is a possibility that is an internet-special also...

Still waiting for Godzilla 2000.

Yeah, it's all kinds of awesome!  I couldn't stop laughing!

And if you don't think that pic is my desktop background you are dead wrong!  =0)
