Picked this up yesterday:

It's another of Bandai's candy toy dioramas featuring Yuji Sakai's depiction of a famous Godzilla appearance scene.  In this case, Godzilla's emergence from an iceberg in the 1962 film KING KONG VS. GODZILLA.   In addition to the Big-G and his ice prison (nicely molded in translucent blue and painted over in white), the set also comes with a flexible plastic "ocean" mat, and a name plaque that acts as the stand for a miniature search helicopter.  I've also included one of those new-fangled "Captain America" pennies that JB was talking about for scale.

My son loves the Super Hero Squad TV show and here's his collection of figurines from the show.  For recent good behaviour I got him the Hulk / Falcon two-pack, which I luckily found at Toysrus.

Top Row: Rhino, Sentinel, Iron Man Movie Droid, Modok, Dr. Doom, Abomination and Sandman (Spider-Man 3 SHS tie-in).

Bottom Row: Bishop, Armored Spidey, Movie Iron Man and War Machine, Regular Spidey, Black Spidey (Movie) and Black Spidey (Comic Book), Hawkeye, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Falcon, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Wolverine, Reptil, Cycolps, and Thing.

Oh yeah, and far left: my handsome little man.

X-Plus has finally announced they're coming out with the 30 cm version of Godzilla 1962 (the King Kong version, and also more familiar as the Aurora model kit one):

Not available for Pre-Order just yet (from the usual sources), but I figure this version is going to be popular...

Not thrilled about some of the details, but the overall effect is quite nice.

It's a bank.

Oh, the humanity!

Over five feet long. Didn't come with swastikas on the tail, of course. Had to make those myself. Now, since it's hanging above my computer chair, let's hope it doesn't burst into flames!

Note to self: remember not to dope the skin with solid rocket fuel!!

Like the Hindenburg, looks nice up there. I've seen that Captain America bank at the comic shop and thought about picking one up. Most of those banks look pretty good and aren't too expensive. I have the Superman, Hulk and Batman banks.
