Kaiyodo's Revoltech line is also coming out with Lupin III action figures [HLJ Link]

Great poseability and good choice in optional facial expressions, but I've got some issues with the way Kaiyodo designed the joints on this figure (especially the shoulders).

If they come out with the green-jacketed Castle Cagliostro version, I might be more tempted to pick that one up.

I agree. I really don't like the Revoltech joint system for their non-robot figures. Too rigid and awkward.

OK...here's one that John is going to have a heart attack over! Please, Mr. Byrne...read what Randy wrote before you get the pitchfork out! :)

"Changes still being made:
The visor will be changed
belt
gloves

thoughts?"

If anyone has an opinion to add about how Randy Bowen should proceed in developing the Original Costume Cyclops statue, please speak out in this thread...

There's also another Scott Summers statue sneaked, but some how I don't think JB would appreciate it, so I won't post it here...

A little beefy for that uniform.

Yeah, too thick to be a young Scott. I do like the modern version, but only with the black boots. The gold crap Marvel wants added looks ridiculous.

Here's something for Godzilla statue fans that I thought was long sold-out...  It's the book YUJI SAKAI'S GODZILLA DREAM, and it's crammed to the gills with photos of all the great Godzilla statues that this master sculptor has done for garage kits, candy toys, and concepts for the actual movies.  As an added bonus, the book package also includes a 3" tall maquette of his concept design for the Godzilla 2000 suit (it's about the same size as the Bandai candy toy Godzilla dioramas, but was only released for this book).

The link only shows images of the maquette prototype and not the interior of the book itself, but if you're a big fan of Godzilla statues (but couldn't afford 'em or lacked the space to show 'em), this book is highly recommended.  The text descriptions are in Japanese, but it does identify the Godzillas by year in English.  [HLJ Link]

Edit - Added photo of my copy of the book (yes, I've yet to take the maquette out of the bag):

Thanks for info on that Godzilla book! Can you post about it on my site in the Godzilla Section? I bet a lot of Godzilla fans (like me!) would want this!

Doesn't much resemble "Slim" Summers to me.

I would Al, but looks like a few JBF members just ate up HLJ's stock on hand, since it's now listed as "backordered" already! ;)

GODZILLA 2000 Godzilla is my favorite design. Love that movie too.
