^ Maybe they ought to rename her "Jessica Robot"...

After the disappointment of seeing how the first of the DC Bishoujo statues turned out, it's kinda nice that Kaiyodo's Sci-Fi Revoltech series still continues, with the Type 66 Maser Cannon from Toho's WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS (er, not exactly an action figure, is it?):

And they're also releasing a Jason Vorhees Revoltech figure:

I wonder if Jason's accessories can be held by the Woody & Buzz SF Revoltechs...

Tomopop.com has more photos from SDCC of the upcoming Kotobukiya Bishoujo line.

Shown are Shunya Yamashita's concept art for Ms. Marvel, Black Cat, Wonder Woman, and Cat Woman.

I've never bought a full-size Bowen before (c'mon, Randy, where is Alpha Flight?!?), but Hawkeye might be my first. Gotta love Clint.

Meself, I am more than happy with the minibusts. Looking at them, I realized that my designs for the Alphas' costumes tend to "stop at the waist" anyway!

Yeah. These standing "museum" pieces are getting old. Pretty soon all the statues will be all just standing there. Very interesting.

I received the "classic" Black Panther statue yesterday, and moving stuff around to make it fit on the shelf, I ended up putting it next to Bowen's standing-straight Captain America. Immediately I noticed T'Challa is quite a bit SMALLER than Cap -- and Cap quite a bit SMALLER than Luke Cage, who is nearby.

Didn't the Bowen statues used to be all the same scale? Has Eaglemoss infected them?

New LEGOS! As a sucker for 'EMPIRE' and especially Hoth, I had to get this new set out this week.

I'll put it together when I get home from work tonight, but for now, ol' Frosty is terrorizing Indy.

See, that what I was talking about in my post earlier.  He is small and for the price of earlier "full size" statues.  I was very surprised when I saw him.  I hope it is not a sign of what we will be expecting from Bowen in the future.
