You're right Brian! Let's bring this one back around... Which has been your
favourite so far?
I really liked the Loki. (Something about his costume really makes the
character come to life in 3D!)

I'm surprised how much I like the Loki -- he's a fine character, and I've loved
reading him (especially under Simonson), but, man, he looks friggin' GREAT
in 3D!

This image might help get things firmly back on track. Now I must stress this is a scratch built that has been created by a talented sculpter by the name of AREN. It has been put up on other forums to guage response and been offered to Eaglemoss as a suggestion.

Charles Schultz once said, "If somebody reads my strip everyday, they'll know me for sure-they'll know exactly what I am."
The same can be said for a comic book artist and his message board. Call me crusader, say I missed the point, and I am a troll with an agenda, but how long can many of you continue to ignore what is right in front of you. You think because he answers your questions, or posts after you, that you are somehow his friend. He is not your friend. His friends are Washington, Lincoln and all the other presidwents who have a face on a bill. Read some of the old threads, and witness the number of people who are no longer here, some of those had high post counts as well. Were they all crusaders? How long will you allow real people to be disrespected over fictional characters. He denigrades some of you based on your faith, while continuing to lecture us on his gods: Superman, Batman, Spider-man and the Fantastic Four.
How some of you guys who are parents, can read that exchange, and not come away with a inkling that not all the bad Byrne stories were someone elses fault, well, keep drinking the Kool-aid.

I hope they offer both Man-Thing and Howard the Duck, but I would want
classic 1970's Howard the Duck, which is out of the question, I think.

I cannot speak for JB, he knows exactly what he meant by his post but I took it to be a "tongue in cheek" comment infering how important some things are to some people and how others sometimes do not realise this importance. The parent would have realised their error. I would be mighty hacked off if some parent gave their child my camera to play with just because "it's only a camera" and my response would be directed at the parent - the camera would also be taken out of harms way.
Back on track I hope.
It would be great to see Man Thing made and become part of this series. I am running a small customising competition at the moment and the imagination and skills of "amateur" modellers is fantastic. Once the images I have go public I hope that you too will see what I mean.

Let's see.
Joined less than two weeks ago, has only 16 posts, yet claims to be all-
kinds-of-knowledgeable about threads and post counts. I smell
crusading troll.
I'm starting to really learn what is meant by people actually working to
miss a point.
JB told his story expressly to make a point about a colleague's lack of
respect for characters. He was aware from the outset that it could be
taken as a story about being mean to a child - thus his asterisk and the
"Don't swing at the easy ones" comment.
Me, I don't know JB from a hole in the ground, and I have no illusions that
I 'know' him here. I disagree with his point of view often enough. Just
about as often as I agree with it. Pretty average enough to make me think
he's a real human being just anyone else.
So I don't go trying to twist every little word he says into untold stories.
For example, it never once occurred to me (like it seems to have to so
many others) that JB had no interaction with the girl in his story at all, and
that he just took the toy away and left her crying or something. Do you
folks actually believe that's what happened? Just because he didn't bother
to elaborate on that point in his story? Are you stupid by birth or just
deliberation?
JB helped raise kids. He invites kids into his home - heck, he lets friends
bring them over to parties! He's got a dime-store spinning rack of comic
books to give out to neighbourhood kids for pity's sake. I wouldn't be
surprised if he's got boxes of toys for kids to play with. For all we know,
after he took Aquaman away (to make a point to his colleague), he gave
her a whole bunch of even more fun stuff to play with.
But even though what happened with her playtime wasn't the point of the
story, that shouldn't stop us from assuming JB made her cry, kicked her in
the ribs, threw her in a pan and roast her for dinner.
I at least picked up on the sublime sarcasm of JB's response to my own
alternate scenario suggestion. Sarcasm born directly from this kind of
assumption being constantly made around here from his guests.
But, I suppose, you read something on the internet and can automatically
assume all kinds of things about the person who wrote it.
That's why I'm assuming you're an asshole, Dwight.
Now, once again, how about that Eaglemoss Loki?
