two green and yellow figures in the midst of all those other colors.
Makes the Vision look extra lonesome, out on the end of his row.

get Iron Fist to keep him company!

••

I have Iron Fist. But he was released with a number much lower than the
Vision's, so he is about three feet away.

Perhaps you missed the point of my post?

No, just thought I'd say something witty.... sheesh.

Okay, I confess my interest in the Marvel Collection faded once I had my favorite Avengers and Xmen on my desk ... but THIS, people, is a sign of great excitement to come :

This Batman looks awesome !!! Great paint job, especially the face, I hope the "mass production" will reach this level.

Not happy with the version of the Hulk sold in this line (tho I did buy one --
gotta have "Ol' Jade Jaws" ahem), I commissioned a same scale model of
the REAL Hulk. Here's a snap of the work in progress…

Minus base, he's 3.25 inches tall.

That's an easy way for Eaglemoss to get even more of my money. Just
produce the same characters all over again, but in a "classic" version.

JB, when commissioning the classic Hulk figure, did you specifically request five fingers per hand?

That's pretty much the kind of figurines I would have liked Eaglemoss to produce : CLASSIC Marvel Characters, with "the artist's faithful look" !

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Captain America, Thor, The Thing, ...

but I am very disapointed with

  • the list of characters (Mystique ?! Black Cat !? they don't sound too Classic to me... Not even a Gorgon, an Abomination or an Absorbing Man!)
  • above all, the version of the character (give me back the gorilla-like Beast, the classic Iron Man armor , the former Nova costume, ...).

I just hope Eaglemoss will establish a list of good old DC CLASSIC characters.

••

Yes. The different number of fingers and toes the Hulk had over his first
couple of years is clearly not a deliberate decision on Kirby's part, but a
result of him churning out so much work over such a short span of time.
Issue to issue, he simply forgot. So, I decided to have the sculpt done with a
full compliment of each set of digits.

As I suspected. I figured you would have noticed Kirby's (ahem) shorthand on this pinup and advised the sculptor accordingly.

Thanks for the response, JB.
