I don't see him on the ship.

I'm with Wallace. At first glance, I thought that might be Wolverine between Colossus and Angel (it was the scowl), but I think that's actually Iceman, de-iced.
Surely, surely Wolverine is not yet in any sort of condition to serve on a boarding party!

JB, was your “think about it!” comment an invitation to speculate? ••• To think is not to speak.

JB:
A strange, technical question (maybe):
Has the format in which people are reading these issue (comic book pages, but scrolling down-and perhaps on a mobile device not seeing the full length of the page all at once) impacted your page design/layout??
I was just curious if that had entered the thinking in "later" issues of Elsewhen (especially after it was decided to not pursue printing).
I've been really enjoying the series. Thanks for doing it. Cheerio-

I think not at all about “publication format”, since, as you note, I really have no way of knowing how these pages will be viewed.

That is a really nice and original line-up in that vehicle. The founder, three originals, three All new-All different and that ally. Really hope to see them in action

I have really enjoyed seeing Angel (and Archangel) here. In a world inhabited by some characters whose ability to break the bonds of terra firma are almost afterthoughts compared to their primary powers, Warren's flight capabilities can seem a bit underwhelming. Not so under the masterful hand of our host!

Perhaps the silliest example of misapplication of flying powers was the Hulk. He started flying in his third issue, but it was later explained away as his more familiar leaps. (Some leaps! Turning 90° while airborne!)

Maybe he was so strong he could swing his arms hard enough to change direction in mid-leap.

Awesome couple of panels there. They conjure a similar kind of wonder that I would get as a child reading stories with Dan Dare or Tintin, or from watching a movie adaptation of one of Jules Verne's tales.

I think the coolest thing about this Jean Grey is that they can finally cool it with the "I'm forever trying to steal your woman" schtick vis-a-vis Wolverine. They've beaten that tired old horse into the ground over the past several decades, and it really makes one wanna say, "Damn, man. Go get a girlfriend already. Sheesh."
Having established that it was the Phoenix-Jean variant that Logan had the hots for, and not this -- the real Jean -- now maybe they can all move forward without that particular subplot gumming up the works.

Ugh....I can’t believe tomorrow’s Friday. Can’t we get the oversized Sunday color, JB? (on the same page as a FUNKY WINKERBEAN and YOU GO GHOUL?)
