Agreed. It manages to really stand out. Modern coloring would mess it up with color gradients or worse, a pattern.

Love the metal gauntlet on that hand at the top of the page. Cool looking chamber as well. Not quite the trouble I was expecting; was almost anticipating Lilandra as a bloody smear on the wall. The final panel is a nice 'cliffhanger' though -- maybe she'll still end up that way!

Very nice last two pages -seems like every page has a new viewpoint and/or panel layout. All new comic artists should study these as a guide as to mix things up to keep things visually interesting...

Epic last panel. The power of Scott's optic blasts often seem a bit downplayed. Controlled is probably a better word. But when not held in check by the visor, wow.
