Did this for the weekly Jam at WPD forum. I always liked the original
version, not even sure why. Maybe because the first two times I
encountered the character he was draw by Neal Adams and Jim Aparo,
respectively, a hard twosome to beat. They both gave him a cool, regal
look, something that seems to have been lost in the following years and
the changes to the character. This is my try at recapturing the "retro"
look. LOL

Excellent work Vlad, just fantastic in every aspect.

watching dvds and sketching until the wife comes home.
I second that by the way, sometimes i'm afraid of replying for
fear of insulting people( though i never have intentionaly) and i
apologize tp Glen for any misunderstanding.
Though there isn't(right, Glen?).

I've posted art on other forums before and viewed other people's artwork on them but never , never, ever, have there been as much fantastic art from as many forum members as on John Byrne's website. We are a talented bunch of people. There is no doubt that there are a good many of us who would have a successful career working within the comic industry. Given what ever circumstances that have kept us out of it. For myself mistakes i made as a young adult and the wonders of parenthood have put curves on my path. That being said thou i want to say everyone you all deserve a round of applause for your work and talent.
