I ordered a handful of books that I'll enjoy reading, but wouldn't have paid for at the suggested retail cover price. Not because I can't afford them, but because they don't hold the value for me to pay cover price for them. I'll gladly pay the $15 for the Madman omnibus because I enjoy the creaotr's other work. I'd have no interest in paying a higher price.

James, you speak of morons and ethics, yet your mind reading, fortune telling, assumptions and other cognitive distortions as well as your judgemental stance suggests that you have some emotional issues of your own to explore and may want to do that before poking people with a stick repeatedly in yet another thread.

If its a mistake, I'm ok with it. If I get the books, I'll (As you say) enjoy my comics.

Brian, its not economics, its ethics.

You have any?

I do. I emailed Amazon at 8:30 eastern time to verify the prices before ordering. they responded back at 1:35 et saying it wasn't. They apologized and gave me a coupon for a small discount off my next order.

Ethics are awesome!

Its like the Alan Moore thread.... is "no" not part of our vocabulary anymore? Is asking if something is legit before acting on it such a hard thing to do?

If you're not asking because you know the answer is not going to be what you want to hear... your ethics are in question.

What if you're not asking because you didn't know there was a question of its legitimacy? Over the years, there have been tons of online sales that seems incredulous when posted.

Just saw that it was a mistake. No biggie in not getting the books from my perspective.

One loser is already preparing to be angry if he doesn't get his TWENTY copies of Invincible... that he has already listed on Ebay.

Nothing wrong with that!

Fred, its and glitch... confirmed.

and suprise, suprise,,, it's diamond's fault.

Instead of just reading the parts of my posts you want to attack, did you care to read

1) the link where it is announced as a glitch

2) my post about emailing Amazon before buying

None of my posts involved mind reading... some opinions, sure. but not mind reading.

enjoy your comic books, boys.

The last time current events moved through message boards with such fury was September 11th.  I even had a conspiracy theory I'm glad I did not post.

I don't see someone buying a comic on sale (real or a glitch) as being unethical.

I do see someone acting superior and judgemental about how and what people spend their money on as pompous and obnoxious.
