Wow! There's a really, really nice sale on various Marvel omnibuses going on at Amazon.com right now! Some books starting at $8.49 and many more at $14.99!

link

I've ordered FF volume 1, Hulk, Secret Wars, The Death of Captain America, and the recent Invincible Iron Man all for only $54.70!

Here's hoping this is an honest clearance sale and not a pricing mistake (in which case the orders will probably be canceled).

Thanks for the head's up Mike - I ordered The X-Men, FF, Secret Wars, and Wolverine volumes.  Twenty bucks shipping, but I checked amazon.ca and the Wolverine Omnibus alone is $65.00 there.  Sweet deals!

Thanks Mike. Picked up the Amazing Fantasy Omnibus pretty cheap. Been wanting that for some time.

not "sweet deals"... clearly a mistake

It lists MSRP as $14.99, when in reality it is $75 to $100.

They will catch their mistake when they see order velocity increase. Your order will likely be cancelled.

What will happen is that one buyer will log on and try to buy 1000 copies, and it will draw amazon's attention. someone has made a mistake that will probably cost them their job!

happens all the time at amazon, and they are not legally obligated, nor do they, honor the price.

It is quite possibly a mistake and maybe all the orders will be canceled but it can't hurt to place an order and hope for the best. All it costs to try is a couple minutes looking at the list and a couple of mouse clicks.

sure, even if it gets someone fired... screw 'em... you saved $100 on funny books.

stuff like this is the epitome of the welfare society that we seem so eager to accept.

it's sad, really. Human errors are no longer acceptable... we should all profit from the mistakes of others... "it never hurts to try" after all... sad, sad, sad, sad

The Herbie Popnecker archives are $14.99 each, too.
