Thats a amazing Hulk! I'm working up my nerve to give sculpting another attempt also.

I've started the somewhat addicting hobby of making customized Muggs.
The first two were a Hellboy and He-Man for friends' birthdays but I've since made one of myself for my wife's desk, a Dick Sprang influence Batman & Robin and this past weekend an OMAC.
I intend to do the DEMON and maybe some new Gods soon.

Chad, that Hellboy is pretty cool. Looks like a hybrid of the movie and comic versions.

Awesome Chad! Knowing you're a Kirby fan makes me eager to see the New Gods done in this style! That OMAC is pretty killer!

The repaint looks really great, but I thought the first one was pretty good too. Are you going to be doing anymore sculpts?
The picture of the Hulk before you painted really showed how well sculpted this is, I am still blown away with how well you did with the open mouth, that is really hard to do.

Are you going to be doing anymore sculpts?•• I've been tinkering with a bust of Doctor Doom -- mostly making a lot of mistakes, so the SECOND one will be better. Perhaps if both actually get done, I will post them side by side.

I'm excited to see it.
Something a little off track, I have always wondered in art education, why the first thing they teach a person, isn't an anatomy course. In all of my art classes, it has never been a requirement and I must admit, it has limited me. I have thought about auditing one at my local college. You obviously have mastered anatomy in spades, did you take a class or are you self taught?
