It definitely shares a lot of the same basic lines as an upside down NX-01. Which is fine, I bought it for the design, but I see your point. This kind of thing also falls under the same recent thought process that every new artist on a comic book seems to have, changing a character's costume just to put their personal stamp on it. Hey, I made a new starship!

Mr. Byrne,

In my experience, Lego is great about providing replacement parts. If you want to request the missing bricks for your bus, head over to this link:

https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts/missing/ choose-brick

Hope this helps!

I was already aware of that, Kevin, thanks.

Think about it for a moment, tho, and you'll soon see how impractical it is--unless the assumption is that anyone building a LEGO kit will first lay out all the pieces and compare them to the list in the instruction manual. There might be people who would do that, but I'm not one.

So, contacting LEGO for replacement pieces would necessitate disassembling the model to add in the missing elements.

(A few years back I had the decidedly un-fun experience of having to almost completely disassemble a light table I'd put together when literally the next-to-last part would not fit properly. Re-examining the illustrated assembly instructions I discovered one of the earliest pieces was drawn backwards and the table would not go together until I took it apart and started over.)

I inserted a differential assembly backwards in the Lego Technic dump truck recently. It was a challenge not to undo 50 pages of work while pulling a central piece out.

This kickstarter for the X-Men United game has neat figures. I like the art style and designs, but not the particular costumes for some of the characters. What do you think?

I almost pulled the trigger on the original Marvel game Kickstarter, but the design choices are so random on the figures (a lot of MCU, some classic looks, recent comic costumes) I decided not to. And I have a lifetime of miniatures to paint already, I'd probably never get to all of them. I might try eBay for a couple I really like, eventually.

I completely understand, Ryan. I almost pulled the trigger on the Marvel United kickstarter from last year. The figure prototypes by Big Child looked so good that almost fooled myself into funding the kickstarter so that I could also paint the figures. If you get a chance, search up Big Child Marvel Figures and have a look at their awesome work. Here is a video:

Had to pre-order this, to add to growing tiki mug collection:

There is also a Kong-Tiki one as well:

Kaiju Battle Website - Mondo Tiki Mugs

Check the Homepage of that website, because there is a lot of GvsK merchandise being previewed too.

Not a "toy" per se. An aluminum casting of a fire ant nest, acquired yesterday.

That is amazing! I've watched a few videos of them being poured and extracted, fascinating stuff.
