Gerry - drooling over that Doom statue. Love the way the cape & tunic are blowing in the wind.

And here we go.......Hitler action figures!
••
There's a series of really good WW2 figures I have been picking up for the
past year or two. Incredibly well detailed renderings of uniforms and even
personalities. Unfortunately, the company apparently subscribes to
Byrne's First Law of Warfare ("The Guys with the Best Uniforms Always
Lose"), so there was a "skew" toward the Nazis for a while. Standing
among my WW2 warplanes, most of which are British and American, I had
Hitler, Rommel, a German soldier, and one poor, lonely American GI. This
has been corrected, with the recent release of more American troops, but
for a while there I would look at the display and feel. . . uncomfortable!

Michael, the Dr Doom is one of my favourite pieces,it sits atop my statue cabinet. Its really imposing in person, bowen seem to be going thru a bronzing fad, with the Dr Doom, and the Daredevil statue getting the treatment
