Oh, and that was a nice move by Storm, JB. I appreciate how you have characters use their powers in different ways.

 | The key, of course, is expanding the use of established powers in LOGICAL ways. Not so much of the “she can walk thru walls so also thru parallel dimensions” or “he can ‘turn to ice’ so also invisible” approach!

Andrew B. - it might prove insightful, but those X-Men are already there because they're aware of Magneto. So perhaps it's more of a confirmation (as if the Watcher could lie!)

Mr. Byrne, you bring up an interesting point. Ororo has the power to "de-humidify" people (so there's another world class attack for Storm.") Can she do the opposite? If someone were desperately dehumidified, could she "refill" them? Or could she be a particularly helpful assist to Bobby? We know she can make it rain... can she just make it wet without the precipitation? |

JB your iceman looks Silver Surfer "cool" (no pun intended). However, the angularity of his form does distinguish the two. Well done.

I think it's more that she has the power to de-humidify *air* , which Iceman happens to draw upon for his power. She used the opposite tactic on Magneto during the volcano fight.

That second panel is a great study in how to draw a hero (or villain) falling. I've seen plenty of people falling in comics - most are quite straight forward, but your camera angle and twist of the body is quite dramatic and has way more impact!

I only saw it as an "M" until today's post, but can't unsee the half "X"
 now.

 | •• Which, coincidentally, in Marvel Time may have been the last encounter the X-Men had with Magneto before the alt-mutants showed up on our world. (I'm figuring they were hanging around in the background for a few months, assessing things, before they contacted "our" Magneto.)

Loving the Champions continuity nod! Is it okay if I 'see' M-Man Angel with the evil red outfit and X-Man Angel with the dark blue?

With the OXO drift I just have to inform all that it was Sooty who used to advertise it! So if there's any call for a teddy in this comic it would be nice to see it have blackened ears and paws. :^)

Thanks for tolerating my sometimes silly comments. I am seriously appreciative of this quality entertainment!
