If there is a way to depict Lilandra nicer than panel 5 of page 6, I can't imagine it. I thought she might have matching feathers on her calves, but obviously not. But that single figure is a class in artistry and anatomy.
All that and Pablo getting involved? Incredible. And Dark Phoenix obviously knows where they are now. It reminds me of your Superman/Joker story a bit, where you pointed out the real way Superman's x-ray vision works regarding lead.
This is just so enjoyable on so many levels. It's a daily delight... and as a tertiary consideration, it's good to see that your power is back and you're all right as well! I was a little concerned.
Oh, and... obviously, as humans do, when Lilandra gets very excited... she loses her pronouns! :)

LOVE IT! Lilandra just gave me the chills!
What if it felt GOOD to be taken over by the THING? What if victims wanted the Body Snatchers to get them? This is a wonderful, twisted idea!

The artwork has been stunning. You're using so many different angles, including many that I can't recall ever seeing before, i.e., panel 1 on page 4 (the prone Cyclops). Some of your best work, imo.

Makes sense that the power would be addictive - imagine being paralyzed all your life, then suddenly having the ability to walk/etc. and have it taken away. You didn't really know what you were missing before so you wanted it but didn't know how good it would be, now you know and want it bad. Mix in that she was the ruler of a massive space empire and desiring that level of power would be in her DNA pretty much. I've known powerful politicians and business people and they all have a stronger desire for that type of power than Joe Average. Hard to explain, but it is obvious when you meet them.

The protection of the cube isn't the only thing that's been compromised, Charles...
Quite the interesting development.
Also, going back to one of yesterday's pages, I like how we can see the cross-section of the safe room's wall as Sprite pulls Professor X through it.

I never noticed Lilandra's fingernails before today's page. Very nice touch.

Regarding the Phoenix power being addictive, this page from one of her (its?) earliest appearances comes to mind. Take a look at the fourth panel.

Curious dynamic, there. Xavier uses his mental powers to summon Jean so he can "fill (her) in", but doesn't use them to just... fill her in!

Those last pages were a totally unexpected turn of events. There's so much going on that my head is starting to spin...
