Kitty acting like a 13 year old with super-powers would. Has an idea, tries to execute it without thinking. Always thinking they can just figure it out if things go wrong. Why super-powers in the real world wouldn't work out so well (thinking back to JB's Starbrand run and the comic convention scene where we see a super powered battle kill thousands instantly) Imagine being able to walk through walls when you were 13 - how much stuff would you do that wasn't really heroic (peaking into peoples rooms, minor shoplifting stuff, finding out what happens if you drop a pen while phasing through someone, etc.) What is a problem in real life is when they keep doing that as an adult .

Roger Stern used to joke (?) that if he had Superman's powers the first thing he'd do is go on global television, and make a speech that would begin "As your King. . . "No question that a world in which some people had super powers would be very different from the one we live in. And probably not better.

True, but since you're calling the shots here in this story, I'm glad you subscribe to the, 'Good wins 'cuz it's nicer' philosophy.
We get enough of the real world from... well, the real world.
Thank you for catching us up with three new pages today! LOVE IT!

Wow! The new pages were fun. That last panel of Phoenix swatting everything aside is great.

I was wondering if you were going to post several pages when your power was restored. That was kind of a luxury to read!

HEY! New pages!
It suddenly feels like the power came back on or something!
That was one heck of a break. Made me realize how much a part of my comics “life” Elsewhen is right now.
Actually.... Its the only goddamn thing going as far as I’m concerned.
WELCOME BACK X-MEN!

Eep! Kitty! That was a cool panel where she pulled the Professor through the wall. I wonder if he's ever been phased before? I can't recall seeing it.

Mr. Byrne - thanks for the beautiful pages today. Again, that image of Dark Phoenix in page five's last panel is a joy. Although a telekinetic probably shouldn't need to do anything physical to use her powers, Dark Phoenix looks as if she is indeed reacting physically to a non-physical action. SO pretty.
One hopes that all your services are restored and that you haven't lost too many comestibles, and that you can catch up on... the... news... Well, I'm glad you CAN. And I hope that you can avoid it anyhow.
