NYC, taking them further away from Jean!
>>
Say it ain't so! I hope she's not still falling through the floor, or she might be in China by now! Kidding... I think that is in the future (slightly? damn relativity anyways) to the fight we are seeing now...

It certainly would make sense that the X-Men's Stratojet would have a compartment somewhere holding some spare costumes (especially for Wolverine!).

I started out thinking people would see Logan in a non-shredded costume and assume he had a spare. But then I remembered the all-too-pervasive No-Prize mentality, always seeking "mistakes", and I figured I'd better spell it out, even if it broke the rhythm of my prose.

Although it begs the question (for all of comics actually) as to who makes all the costumes anyway? Edna?
For Spiderman at least, it appears to be Peter doing the makes and repairs...

I love that view in the cockpit. The shading was photoshopped?

The shading was photoshopped?•• Yes. If this was being published in color, I would, of course, depend upon the colorist to produce the same effect.

One of the great pleasures for me back in the day after reading a JB comic, was there was always at least one page that just blew me away. I’d look at it over and over again. This is that page for me in this issue.
Peter’s profile, the sense of depth in that first panel, the left to right movement that explodes in panel 2 with left right, right left and back to front movement beautifully rendered.
Great framing in panel 3 and I really like the negative space of the ground here. This page comes pretty close to perfection for me. Bravo.

If I can borrow that comment for a digression of sorts, not remembering why they first came to comics is what has caused a lot of fans—and fans turned pro—to do a lot of damage to the industry. Demanding ever more “mature” product to keep pace with their own advancing years has caused fans and pros to push away the things that attracted them in the first place.

In the cockpit panel, that Cyclops profile is wonderfully Neal Adamsesque!
