And now we must add another name to the list of Sentinel "masters":
1. Bolivar Trask--crushed by a Sentinel. 2. Larry Trask--crushed by a Sentinel. 3. Stephen Lang--Flew himself into a wall. (long story) 4. Sebastian Shaw--crushed by a Sentinel.
A moment of silence, please.

Not sure how you’re working “Days of Future Past” into this, Richard. This timeline picks up immediately after 137, not after I left the book.

Ah, sorry. I think I've got my timeline mixed up.

Just curious, absorbing kinetic energy - is that classed as impact energy only, or would sustained force also count for, say, powering one’s energy-absorbing ability...? Is Shaw classed as invulnerable when powered up, or is it just that blows (like a Colossus roundhouse) lose all energy when he is struck?

Just when you thought things couldn't get worse for our heroes! This is such an incredible gift you're giving us, JB. Thank you.

I learned, long before I turned Pro, that Jack Kirby used to draw scenes, shuffle them into some kind of coherent order, then add bridging pages to bring it all together. I've worked much the same way many times in my career.

Thanks for the insight into your process, JB. Given the scene bridging you describe, how tightly do you plot the stories you will be drawing? Do you lay out the action by page, or plot much more loosely?

Yes — and not being snarky, for a change. The method varies with the needs of the stories. You may know the old saying that the direction is the destination.

Wow, I never realized the pattern until now... That's a lot of crushing defeats for them :-)

uh-oh!!!!..... One Sentinel veered in another direction........•• Two of my parallel timelines are about to collide! (Those paying close attention will have noticed that, technically, they sort of already kinda maybe have. . . )

Another great page that has me grinning from ear to ear. The biggest grin came from the 3D effect of the “4” emblem on Reed’s chest. The way the shadow moved according to POV was one of the little touches that I greatly enjoyed back in the day.
