Seeing the Fantastic Four made it just occur to me-- not that it really matters-- but Guardian could be ("must be"?) still alive!

True story: When this thought hit me about Guardian, Ryan, I instantly thought of you.

True, at this moment in time Mac would be alive. But there’s no reason to assume Alpha Flight’s timeline is proceeding in a manner other than what we saw originally.

Sorry, Ryan.

I get one hell of a kick being associated in anyone's mind with Guardian, gotta say.

I'll be dreaming of butterfly effects from these stories and how Alpha Flight's appearance in Manhattan was subtly changed...

Except for Wolverine, I did what I could to keep Alpha unentangled from the rest of Marvel. So it would take a pretty big butterfly!

The first 13 issues of Alpha Flight were a masterpiece in art and storytelling.  The feel of the book changed a bit when you took on an inker, but your full run is one of my favorite comic book experiences ever.

Coming up:  Issue #146, I think. Anniversary ish (kinda, sorta, maybe) on the horizon!

Hm.... Depends on whether the "first issue" corresponds to 138. Seems like in this "run" there was no "review" issue, so this 8th "issue" would correspond to 144. One issue past my original run!

That leaves six issues to 150, which might pace out to have a Significant Event in it.

Should warn you all in advance, I suppose, that whatever issue that Significant Event works out to be in, it will likely mark the end of this little experiment.
