Well how do we know Viz hasn't learned a few new tricks in Elsewhen?

Maybe -this- Vision (The one from this fan-fiction) is separated from the canon Vision by this very small degree?
Cue up all the protestors, now!

I can't recall anytime that Vision demonstrated that ability either.
Edit - looks like 7 other replies came through while I was running through my memories. Apologies for beating a dead horse.

I hereby invoke the specialist rule; Kitty gets to be "better" than the Vision at intangibility!

Is Shaw somehow aware of Jean's diminished state?

Me; Did Shaw withdraw the Sentinels from battle because of Storm’s hurricane? That’s the way I read it.
Darren: I read that as they could no longer target them, effectively blinding (or perhaps scattering) their signal.

And for that reason, Shaw withdrew them, correct? Is that how you also read it?

That was my assumption, too. Interesting that Shaw thinks that his Sentinels could take down Phoenix!

Remember that Shaw’s experience of Phoenix was as a ramped up version of Marvel Girl, but not the fully unleashed Dark Phoenix. Since Mastermind was able to mess with her—up to a point—Shaw would have no reason to assume she was beyond his scope.

>> Well, Emma might, but we haven't seen her in elsewhen, and even then she could only speak to Jean's telepathy being much greater than her own...
