As much as that slime-ball deserves it, I actually hope he's not dead for Jean's sake at least -Given a choice, I can't imagine she wants even one more death on her conscience.

Whew, that was a long wait... Long wait for Kurt as well, but Jean is my favorite character (obviously, if you've read any of my messages) so I suppose it just seems longer...

And you didn't disappoint -Jean looks great.  Looking forward to the next page already...

Unrelated, I should mention that I WILL be posting a page on Xmas day, barring unforeseen eventualities, but there will be another "drought" after the last page of this "issue" is posted on the 27th.

To maintain my monthly "schedule" I'll be posting issue 8 starting on January 6th.

Mr. Byrne: "To maintain my monthly "schedule" I'll be posting issue 8 starting on January 6th."

A birthday present? For ME? Aw, you shouldn't have!

As to today's page... sticks and stones may break my bones, but psionically defending oneself may literally blow my mind!

Whao, this page is fantastic. There is something very realistic and pleasurable in the way you represent ordinary "rednecks", and non only super-villains (cf Next Men 3, as well).
It reminds me some Stephen King's novels (I hope you take this as a compliment).

Jean’s hair is a good touch as the “power surges around her”

Ouch!  You can't really blame Elaine for feeling this way.  She does makes some valid points, even if ultimately Jean chose to join and stay with the X-men...

I can really see the emotions play out in Elaine on this impressive page.  You gotta feel for her.
