The shadow of the window across the bed in the upper right panel...•• …is, of course, inaccurate, but I allowed myself a little artistic license for dramatic effect. ++++++++++++ The down angle shot of the room at the bottom of the page... •• Down shots like that, especially from directly overhead, are among my favorite to draw. They are challenging, strictly from an "architectural" standpoint, and when figures are introduced they become even more so. Back when he was editing FANTASTIC FOUR Carl Potts told me he'd shown a young artist a straight overhead shot I did of Sharon Selleck collapsed at the bottom of a phone booth, as a demonstration of the kinds of angles that can be used to liven up the storytelling. (One not included in Wally Wood's "25 Panels that Always Work".)
