This is one of the things that used to be so great about the continuity of the Marvel Universe - you'd have a guest appearance like this - where Spidey would say something along the lines of, "How've you been since we took down Jigsaw?*" Accompanied by an editorial box declaring: '*See the now legendary Amazing Spiderman 161/162 - Ed.' Always something there, to reinforce the wider shared universe across titles. Love it.

Good seeing Spiderman, which is probably the first thing I *ever* read as a young child...

It's very nice to see a comic book have the characters doing fun things and not always being crushed by the weight of the world.  Not that there shouldn't be threats, etc, but that the feel of the story doesn't have to be dark all the time.  I guess that is what is making me enjoy this fanfic so much.

Love this 'true' version of Spiderman - where the eyes are not as big as his whole mask!

I love the "expression" on Spider-Man's mask as Nightcrawler reveals himself.

The Nightcrawler/Spider-Man cross-over by Len Wein and Ross Andru was one
of my favorites as a kid, so this little scene has extra kick for me.

It is a great thing to feel the entire Marvel Universe pushing its way up through
the pavement via this project!

Just a great page!  It really does broaden and legitimize the Marvel world to have these characters occasionally just happening onto each other in a non-"Crisis on Infinite Secret Wars" context.

Love the first panel, with the streets of Manhattan.  I always love your cities JB.  I almost feel like I'm there when I look at it.
