This is amazing work. Really love the format of one page a day.
Any chance we will be seeing Angel again and here's to hoping Banshee rejoins the team:)

JB,
If you don’t mind me asking...
1) Are you continuing to draw new Elsewhen issues?
2) Are you working on any other projects you haven’t announced yet?
3) Do you see yourself ever going back to drawing commissions?
Thanks!

Mr. Byrne, another question:
The finale in issue #2 with Henry Peter Gyrich and Sebastian Shaw. If the Days of Future Past story never happened in this "elsewhen" time, what is the impetus for the creation of Project Wideawake?
If there was never an assassination attempt against Senator Robert Kelly (and there has been no mention of it in Elsewhen), then Kelly never wrote his report with it's recommendations for a mutant solution. Which then means the President never created Project Wideawake. Gyrich was never put in charge to head it. There shouldn't even be a Project Wideawake?
The entire sequence of events that lead to the finale page of UNCANNY X-MEN # 142 and that ominous meeting did not occur and so Wideawake's creation never occurred because there has not been a "Days of Future Past" story to spur these events on.
So why are Shaw and Gyrich working together with a Sentinel program when the events that launched Wideawake are outside X-MEN ELSEWHEN timeline and continuity? Thank you for reading my question.

Are you asking why Shaw would want to destroy the X-Men?

Hmmmm, I obviously missed something... I was under the impression that X-MEN ELSEWHEN picks up after your last official issue of UNCANNY... not UNCANNY #136. Silly me... it's weird to think that, in this timeline, "Days of Future Past" didn't happen...yet.

Issue 135, pages 5 & 6, Shaw is discussing the battle of the Hellfire Club with senator Robert Kelly and directly suggests the Sentinels. Wideawake was probably his baby all along, Gyrich would’ve been recruited in the intervening period post Central Park/pre Elsewhen 2.
I like that the slightly redesigned Sentinels are distinguishable from the existing (in continuity) models and are a progression towards what would’ve evolved in DOFP. This is just the most fun and enjoyable comics in years, chief.

Couple of things - the President has already authorised the project, so an attempt on Kelly is redundant in terms of officially-sanctioned Sentinels, and Gyrich’s pullover under his bomber jacket is reminiscent of the Hellfire mercenary goons’ uniform - that’d be a niiiiice touch... Enjoying this ride a lot.

As I have already mentioned, it's best not to seek to align my tale with what happened in the "real" timeline. For one thing, this isn't taking place in the Eighties, so we're dealing with an entirely different President--and I don't want to get pulled down the rabbit hole of wondering which, and whether he would agree to something like WIDEAWAKE.

I'm like an addict, now - checking the FanFic page every hour or so to see if the new issue is up. It's Wednesday every day!
